Olsen D. Deronvil has 10 years of experience in the design of roadway lighting and signalization for Florida’s transportation infrastructures. His career has focused on various aspects of traffic engineering and traffic design projects in North, South, and Central Florida for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7, Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), Miami-Dade County, and the City of Orlando. Olsen expertise extends to Interchange, corridor, and intersection lighting design, multidisciplinary review efforts (tolling electrical, lighting, signalization, ASCT, and ITS plans and shop drawings), traffic studies, signal design. Olsen is proficient in the use of MicroStation, AGi32, GuideSign and Microsoft Office. Olsen has also been trained and/or certified at the following: Temporary Traffic Control-Advanced, IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Levels I & II, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector and Florida State University – Certified Public Manager (CPM) Level I. Olsen recently worked for FDOT District 6, where he was able to continue his professional growth and was exposed to complex projects. His professional affiliations include Institute of Traffic Engineers (ITE), Illumination Engineering Society (IES), Women in Transportation Society (WTS), and The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
