Osvaldo A. Rodriguez has a BSCE in Civil Engineering from Florida International University (FIU) with emphasis in Transportation Engineering and has over 3 years of professional experience working with Choice Engineering Consultants. Osvaldo gained experience including TSM&O initiatives, maintenance of traffic, signal retiming, signal inspection, traffic operations / safety analysis, signal warrant studies, and traffic signalization plans development. His experience also includes the development and preparation of safety and operations studies for arterials, freeways, and composite roadway networks for FDOT District Six. He has developed traffic data collection experience with turning movement counts, travel time & delay counts, pedestrian/bicycle counts, etc. He has also supported in the development of the Arterial Management Plan for the FDOT District 6 TSM&O unit, in which network screening and priority ranking of all state roads were conducted. Osvaldo has efficient skills in the preparation of various tables and figures to summarize both traffic and crash data and has extensive experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD to produce several engineering documents. He has experience working with simulation software such as HCS-7, CORSIM, and SYNCHRO and is certified in Intermediate Temporary Traffic Control (No. 51663), IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II (No. BE_123523), and IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector for Advanced Technologies (No. AT_123523) and FDOT Systems Engineering 100 CBT.
