ENTRY LEVEL (TSM&O)
Full-Time
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven individual
to join a team of dedicated transportation professionals in a full-time,
in-house role primarily based in Palm Beach County Vista Center
(and our Broward office). The position offers hands-on experience,
strong mentorship, and exposure to real-world transportation challenges
in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
The role will focus on traffic analysis and signal retiming efforts throughout FDOT
District 4, including Broward, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian
River counties, with potential support to additional districts as needed.
This position offers a strong opportunity to expand your technical expertise
in signal and arterial operations while working closely with our team.
Training is provided on-site.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred emphasis in
transportation). Engineering Intern License preferred.

No Prior experience needed. Training on site.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Able to work well with others and follow directions.

Solid oral and written communication skills.

Desire to work in a team environment and multi-disciplinary teams.

Support signal and arterial retiming projects,
contributing to improved traffic
operations and roadway efficiency.

Conduct traffic analyses and collaborate
with team members on various operational initiatives.

Expand your expertise in signal/arterial operations and
traffic management strategies.

Participate in in-house staffing to support ongoing
and signal retiming efforts.

Support ITS and traffic signal engineering, including analysis,
research, and technical writing.

Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of traffic engineering studies,
including data collection, field investigations, engineering analysis,
and report preparation.
