TRAFFIC ANALYST (TSM&O)

We are seeking a Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSM&O)
Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent career opportunity for an

analytics, GIS applications, traffic signal operations, and performance reporting. This

Key Responsibilities

Work primarily within the TSM&O group, with opportunities to collaborate
with the traffic and roadway engineering teams.

Conduct TSM&O and traffic signal engineering analysis, including
data collection, evaluation, and reporting.

Perform research, technical writing, and fieldwork to support signal
operations, smart work zones, and GIS-driven projects.

Analyze and synthesize various traffic data sources to develop static and
interactive figures, dashboards, and other visual reporting tools.

Develop and manage GIS maps to support transportation planning
and performance reporting.

Extract, interpret, and organize signal timing data for use in
traffic operation reports.

Support the development and application of traffic models (e.g., Synchro, WaySync)
related to signal operations, including field reviews and system evaluations.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables while maintaining
project schedules.

Assist in performance reporting and before/after evaluations to assess
the impact of TSM&O strategies.

Support multimodal transportation planning and data-driven decision-making
for transportation operations.

1-3 year of experience:
In TSM&O/Traffic/Safety
2
Proficiency in:
Proficiency in Data Analysis.
3
Communication Skills:
Strong Technical Writing and Communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
1
Experience in traffic signal data analytics, dashboards, and GIS-based
transportation applications.

Familiarity with Synchro, WaySync, or similar traffic modeling tools.

Knowledge of TSM&O concepts, including performance reporting, arterial
operations, and smart work zones.

Ability to interpret and apply traffic signal timing data
for operational assessments.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
when handling complex data sets.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative
work environment.

Bachelor’s Degree In Civil Engineering,Computer Science, or Related Field.
8
Engineering Intern (EI) registration in Florida.
